QVOL's Inaugural Distribution and Target Yield

Infrastructure Capital Advisors has declared the first monthly distribution for the Infrastructure Capital Nasdaq Option Income ETF (QVOL) at $1.04 per share, equivalent to $12.48 per share on an annualized basis. The fund targets an annualized distribution rate range of 12% to 15%, derived from option premiums and dividends from equity holdings. However, there is no guarantee that QVOL will achieve this target, and actual distributions may vary. Distributions may include return of capital.

Distributions for BNDS, SCAP, and ICAP

Infrastructure Capital also announced monthly distributions for three other ETFs: BNDS declared $0.34 per share ($4.08 annualized), SCAP declared $0.250 per share ($3.00 annualized), and ICAP declared $0.250 per share ($3.00 annualized). Future distributions are planned on a monthly basis but are not guaranteed.

QVOL's Strategy and Portfolio

QVOL is an actively managed ETF that combines options premium strategies with equity exposure to the Nasdaq Composite Index. It invests at least 80% of net assets in equity securities and option contracts tied to the Nasdaq, using quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify relative value opportunities. The fund aims to provide income while maintaining potential for capital appreciation. Infrastructure Capital Advisors manages $4.0 billion in assets as of July 29, 2026, and offers a suite of income-focused ETFs including PFFA, PFFR, AMZA, ICAP, SCAP, BNDS, and PFFI.

What it means for income investors

QVOL's high target distribution rate reflects the potential income from options strategies on Nasdaq stocks, but investors should note the risks, including possible return of capital and variability of distributions. The fund adds to Infrastructure Capital's lineup of income-oriented ETFs, offering another option for those seeking monthly income.
