What this site is
DividendSmart is a free set of dividend calculators and data pages covering 122 dividend-paying stocks and ETFs, backed by a database of 13,918 historical per-share payments. Every ticker gets a projection calculator, its complete payment history and an ex-dividend date page.
Where the data comes from
Prices and dividend records come from consolidated public market data feeds and are refreshed daily. Historical amounts are split-adjusted so they are comparable across decades. Derived figures such as TTM yield, growth CAGRs and next-payment estimates are computed by us from that record.
What the calculators assume
Projections simulate month by month: dividends arrive at each ticker's real frequency, DRIP reinvests them (including fractional shares), contributions buy at the modeled price, and payouts and prices grow at the constant annual rates you set. Real markets are not constant; treat every projection as a scenario, not a forecast.
